Introducing Experimenter 5 of 5:

DaSean Greene

21 year old award winning magician and entrepreneur DaSean Greene, who performs as the Magicman of Manchester, is returning to the Lab this Thursday. He is a member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Originally from New England, he spent this past year performing across the country.

Catch him back on the east coast tonight!

Introducing Experimenter 3 of 5 and your headliner for May:
The one and only Benjamin Barnes

Benjamin Barnes is a Chicago native and leader in its vibrant magic scene. A student of the legendary Eugene Burger, Benjamin spent the last two decades under the tutelage of this modern master. Although he is best known for his performances before corporate audiences, he has also appeared at some of magic's most prestigious showplaces including the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Windy City's own Chicago Magic Lounge, and on the current season of Penn & Teller Fool Us.

Believe it or not, the last time he was at the Lab, he performed his set then flew directly to Las Vegas to perform that same set for Penn and Teller.

We're excited to see what he's got for us on Thursday!

His specialty lies in the world of close-up magic, mentalism, and doing things with ordinary objects. As a classical pianist, David has the dexterity to manipulate cards and objects to achieve astounding things.

Tris is a member of the Boston Magic Lab production team who sadly moved away. She's back in town though, and she's excited to show you what she's been working on!

Tris is a voice coach by day, magician by night, a serial hobbyist and jack-of-all-trades who incorporates ideas from every niche in which she dabbles. She was also formerly a close-up magician at the Chicago Magic Lounge and a regular performer at the Boston Magic Lab before she moved away.

In addition to his work in magic, Oliver is a talented illustrator and a dedicated full-time art teacher, drawing inspiration from the masters of the past and the beauty of the natural world.

Given he recently moved from NYC, Oliver will be making his Magic Lab debut on Thursday.

Mark Thomas is usually taking photos at The Magic Lab, but tonight he'll be making his Magic Lab debut on stage. That said, Mark isn't a new performer at all.

He has been performing magic for over 40 years. He has performed at The Wizard Magic Theatre in Orlanda, Florida, opening for the likes of Scott Alexander, Peter Samelson, and Bill Abbott. He is a regular at the Mohegan Sun Casino at Comix. He's performed throughout New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island -- where he was voted Rhode Island's number one magician.

WOW. #CHEMYSTERY number 3 was our biggest success yet! We sold out with 200 seats at the @rockwellthtr , introduced magic to people who had yet to see magic, and had a CHEMYSTICAL explosion of a night.💥🧪

We had 4 close-up performers before the show -- with @tarekzawi (unfortunately no photo of him in action, but he rocked that night), @dcongo , @nogeorgehere , and @magicalzachary )

Local features @paul.kilmer.5 and @tom_indigo opened the show with, respectively, strong laughs and mind-blowing mentalism.

Our headliners @meadowperry and @jekiyoo closed the night out with the strongest magic Somerville has ever seen.
